Healthy eating cookery roadshow begins a tour of Hayes

WOULD you like to become a kitchen king or a cuisine queen?

Well, February presents a great opportunity to learn new skills and how to cook for a healthier lifestyle when the You Cooks roadshow comes to Hayes.

The events, which are being organised by the Com Cafe, from the Glebe Estate in West Drayton, are designed to show a range of simple recipes that are both fun to prepare and cook and provide a balanced, nutritious diet.

The outreach scheme, which is being funded by the Hillingdon Community Trust, will visit eight venues around the Hayes area, between 3.30pm and 5.30pm, at the following locations:

? Tuesday, February 5 – Rosedale

? Wednesday, February 6 – Barra Hall

? Tuesday, February 12 – Nestles Avenue Children’s Centre

? Wednesday, February 13 – Harlington Academy

? Tuesday, February 19 – YMCA

? Wednesday, February 20 – The Old Vinyl Factory

? Tuesday, February 26 – Nestles Avenue Children’s Centre

? Wednesday, February 27 – Townfield Community Centre

Admission is free.
