Hayes teacher wins six-figure lottery sum

The lucky lady from Hayes scooped a six figure prize after entering the online EuroMillions draw

A fortunate teacher from Hayes won a six-figure sum of money in the National Lottery EuroMillions draw.

The lucky lady, who is known only as Mrs S, as she wished to remain partially anonymous, scooped a life-changing prize of £246,326.

She told the National Lottery that she intends to pay off her mortgage with her winnings.

Mrs S played EuroMillions through national-lottery.co.uk and has become one of over 6m players that win each week on The National Lottery’s range of games.

She matched the five main numbers and one Lucky Star number, which were said to be chosen for her own sentimental reasons, in the EuroMillions draw on June 12.

A National Lottery spokesman said: “Huge congratulations to Mrs S for winning this fantastic prize without even touching a ticket. After a few simple clicks she has become a big winner and can now look forward to living life mortgage free.

“With many people leading busy lives playing online is becoming increasingly popular, it means you can make sure your lucky numbers are always in the draw and your ticket is always checked.”

Interactive players can have their numbers checked for them and receive an email to notify them if they've been a lucky winner.

At national-lottery.co.uk, players can buy tickets for all of The National Lottery’s draw-based games including Lotto, EuroMillions and Thunderball. Once they have registered and set up an account, they can also play a range of online Instant Win Games.
