A thief has been handed an eight week sentence and banned from Uxbridge Town Centre.
Luigi Inglese, 38, of Station Road, Hayes, pleaded guilty on August 15 at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court to four counts of theft.
He had stolen from numerous shops in the town.
He was also handed an Anti Social Behaviour Order which bans him from the town centre and states he must not remain on any retail premises if asked to leave by any member of staff.
The order lasts for two years.
Acting Police Sergeant James Burgess, of West London Policing Team said: “This ASBO will act as a serious and powerful deterrent and will help to ensure that our retail premises will be free of Ingleses's criminal activity for this duration."
