The road has now reopened and traffic has returned to normal in Hayes.

To recap, a woman was taken to hospital for non-life threatening and non life-changing injuries this morning after a three-car pile-up in Hayes.

A man also had to be freed from his car following the accident on Kingsway near the junction with West Drayton Road.

Road reopened

Kingsway has now been cleared and has reopened to traffic.
It had been shut shortly after 8am this morning when three cars collided near the junction with West Drayton Road.

The H98 bus has returned to its normal route.

Man trapped inside car

London Fire Brigade had to release a man trapped inside his car after the three-car collision in Hayes.

The Brigade were called to the scene at 8.13 and sent two fire engines and crews.

They left the scene at around 9.02pm.

What we know so far

Shortly after 8am this morning there was a three-car collision in Hayes, on Kingsway near the junction with West Drayton Road.

Police, Ambulance and Fire Brigade all attended the scene and the road remains closed in both directions as they deal with the aftermath of the crash.

One lady has been taken to a west London hospital for non life-threatening and non life-changing injuries.

How is traffic faring in Hayes?

Kinsgway is still closed in both directions, near the junction with West Drayton Road.

Morgan’s Lane and Wood End Greek Road which lead up to the scene are also suffering from heavy traffic.

There is also slow moving traffic on West Drayton Road in both directions leading to the junction with Uxbridge Road and on Green Lane.

Elsewhere in Hayes there is also heavy traffic on Harlington Road in both directions this morning

Bus diverted

The Route H98 bus is currently on diversion.

Lady taken to hospital

A lady was taken to a west London hospital for treatment for injuries

She is believed to have sustained non-life threatening and non-life changing injuries.

Police remain at the scene.

Three cars involved

Police were called to the scene at around 8.05am to reports of a multiple car road traffic collision.

They arrived at Kingsway, near the junction with West Drayton Road to find a three-car crash.
