A worried cat-lover is desperately seeking her beloved kitten, which was last seen in Hayes over a week ago.

60-year-old Jean Pope, who lives with her husband on Raynton Drive in Hayes, is worried her pet was taken from her driveway.

Sophie, the missing cream Persian kitten, has pale blue eyes and is 11 months old.

Mrs Pope last saw Sophie late in the morning of Tuesday 29th September.

She said: “She's a very beloved pet, she's deeply missed and we thought that she'd been stolen from our driveway. It's totally out of character for her and there's been no sightings of her since.”

Mrs Pope has used social media and national websites to find the micro-chipped kitten, but has had no luck yet.

She added: “She's like a child to us.

“It would mean the world to me to have her back, she's a beloved kitten we had to replace my 15-year-old Persian cat that died tragically last year.

“She's beautiful and such a lovely temperament. She's so friendly so someone might have called her and she went up to them on our driveway.”

Jean Pope is offering a reward for the person who can safely return her kitten. If you have any information about Sophie the kitten, please Jean on 07708 655350.
