London Air Ambulance has attended an incident in Harrow following a serious collision on Station Road.

Police were called to the scene just before 10am on Friday (September 15) after a car collided with a motorcycle.

The road was immediately closed to traffic as Metropolitan Police, London Ambulance Service and London Air Ambulance responded.

Police confirm there have been no arrests

Metropolitan Police confirmed that the other driver stopped at scene and there have been no arrests.

The police incident in Harrow where a man was injured following a collision in Station Road is unrelated to a fire in Harrow which started just before midnight in Chantry Place.

Man suffered injuries

A man, believed to be in his 50s has been injured in the collision on Station Road.

London Air Ambulance has taken him to a hospital for treatment to a leg injury.

TfL have had to divert a number of buses away from Station Road.

Routes 140, 182, 186, 258 and 340 are all affected by the diversion.
