Harrow High School students were delighted with their A-level results after securing their places at some top universities.

Haneen, aged 18 from Wembley, got a stunning  A in Mathematics, A in Chemistry and a B in Biology.

She said: "I feel amazing and I have accepted a place at University of Central London to study Biochemical Engineering."

Nazar, 18, from Queensbury, who got a B in Mathematics, C in Chemistry and C in Biology, said: "All my teachers helped enormously."

She has now accepted a place at University of Reading to study Biomedical Science.

Paul Gamble, headteacher at Harrow High School, in Gayton Road, Harrow, said: "We are once again delighted with the achievements of our learners.

"The vast majority of Year 13 will once again be progressing to a wide range of universities as a direct result of their hard work, ability and effort.

"As always, they have been guided and supported by our dedicated and skilful staff who are celebrating with the learners today."
