A heroin and crack cocaine dealer has avoided jail after pleading guilty to dealing Class A drugs.
Marcio Dos Santos, 19, of Vesta Avenue, St Albans, was given a suspended sentence after he was caught on June 10 red handed in College Hill Road, Harrow, with his car searched by officers found to be containing large amounts of both heroin and crack cocaine.
Appearing at Harrow Crown Court on Thursday last week, he was sentenced to nine months imprisonment, suspended for 24 months, for two counts of possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply.
DC Peter Bragg, of Harrow criminal investigations department, said: “We will not tolerate any drug dealing on Harrow streets.
"If people choose to travel to the borough to supply drugs they must be aware that we have measures in place to detect and arrest.
"Police in Harrow are determined to keep our streets free of drug dealers in our strive to make the borough the safest in London”
Santos was ordered to do 200 hours unpaid work and pay a £100 victim surcharge.
