Just as I was sitting down for my dinner last Wednesday, I heard a loud explosion. I feared the worst and went to investigate.

Stanley Road looked like it had been hit by a missile.

Residents were trying to help the best they could.

The police, fire brigade, two helicopters were there immediately and did an amazing job despite the fact that nobody at that time knew what the explosion was.

It was reassuring to know that Harrovians can come together at a time of need.

Prayers will be said for the deceased Emad Qureshi and all those injured at the Harrow Mosque on Friday.
