HAREFIELD Academy students celebrated their best art display yet.

Work created by pupils was showered with praise when it went on show at the Northwood Way school.

Masterpieces included sculptures of a cigarette butt and a cabbage as well portraits and paintings.

Head of art Bhavini Gupta said: “This year’s exhibition proved to be the most successful yet. The quality of the students’ work was outstanding and reflected their commitment and focus towards producing their best.

“The work displayed demonstrated a wide range of skills, techniques and processes and clearly showed the journey each individual had gone through.

“Congratulations and well done to all the students for their hard work, dedication and enthusiasm.”

Principal Lynn Gadd said: “The art at The Harefield Academy goes from strength to strength and I am so proud of the achievement of our students and staff.”
