A Hanworth man has been arrested and charged with attempted murder after his wife was stabbed in the back.
Mark John Weston, 56, appeared at West London Magistrates Court, in Hammersmith, on January 1 accused of attacking the 51-year-old woman.
She was taken to St George's Hospital, in South London, and treated for two stab wounds following the incident at 7pm, on December 30, at their home in Hounslow Road.
Weston is now in custody awaiting a plea hearing at Kingston Crown Court next week. His wife has been sent home and is staying with family.
