Hammersmith Tube station was closed after a 'customer incident' during Wednesday evening (July 26) rush hour.

Transport for London reported that trains were not stopping in either direction on the Piccadilly line and customers were warned of "severe delays".

Disruption cleared

We’ve still received no official word on the earlier incident amid reports that someone was hit on the line. We will of course bring you the full story as and when we have it. The earlier disruption has however now cleared and TfL are reporting a good service on the Piccadilly line.
