A LUCKY EuroMillions winner in Hammersmith and Fulham is sitting on a massive pay day after failing to claim their bumper prize.

A borough resident has won £245,597 but has not collected their life-changing prize after the draw was made on Friday, September 2.

They matched the five main numbers – 12, 26, 37, 38, 44 – and either of the Lucky Star numbers which were 4 and 7 and the cash will go to charity if it remains uncollected by 11pm on Wednesday, February 29 next year.

A spokesman for National Lottery said: “We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings because this amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life.

“We’re urging everyone to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding. Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa.

“Someone out there could literally be sitting on a fortune. We have our champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win.”

Launched in 2004, the EuroMillions lottery is played in the UK, France, Austria, Belgium, Ireland, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland.

The week of the draw saw Andy Murray beat Robin Haase in five sets in the US Open while rapper Wretch 32 had a number one hit with Don’t Go and Thriller Live was on show at the Lyric.

Anyone who thinks they have the lucky ticket should call the National Lottery Line on 0845 910 0000.
