TWO men brandishing a sawn off shotgun and a handgun stormed a Barclays Bank in Sudbury Hill last week in a daylight armed robbery.

The pair entered the bank in Greenford Road on Thursday (November 15) afternoon before threatening staff and fleeing with an unknown quantity of cash.

Police were called to the scene shortly after at around 4.20pm.

The first suspect is described as a white man, around 5ft 8ins tall, wearing a red hooded top with the hood up, a cap with a white peak underneath, a dark jacket, blue jeans and white gloves. He had a handgun.

The second suspect is described as wearing a dark jacket with the hood up, a cap with a red peak underneath, blue jeans and trainers. He was carrying a small rucksack and a sawn off shotgun.

Officers from the Finchley Flying Squad are investigating the incident and are asking anyone with information to contact them on 0208 358 1751.
