A handgun, wads of cash and what looks like cannabis were found when police raided a property in South Harrow.

The drugs warrant was executed by Harrow Police yesterday as part of a Community Action Day in the area.

Officers later posted a picture on Twitter from the @MPSHarrow account of what they discovered in the home.

It showed what appears to be a fluorescent cannabis grinder, stacks of £20 and £50 notes, bags of marijuana, a set of digital scales and other paraphenalia.

It is unclear if anyone was arrested.

Harrow Police also tweeted a photograph of a sledgehammer and what seems like a machine gun picked up in a weapons sweep carried out in Wealdstone.
