A CHEF-turned-beautician has found the recipe for success after her salon was voted Hounslow's most-loved business for the second time in three years.
Kay Malli opened her first firm - Kaze Hair & Beauty, in the Great West Road, Hounslow - four years ago after trying her hand at a number of jobs over the years.
The beauty salon last month came out on top in the annual 'Best Of Hounslow' awards, having come second and first in the previous two years.
It was also in the top 100 businesses in the entire country in the national 'Best Of' website awards, which are voted for by members of the public.
Mrs Malli said she was delighted with the honour and thanked her loyal customers for their support.
"This award means a hell of a lot because it lets us know we're on the right track. We take time to get to know our customers and their needs," added the mother-of-three, who lives in Hayes.
"These are difficult times for any business but we're not struggling because we have loyal customers and run a lot of promotions."
The 'Best Of' awards are based on the number of positive reviews posted on the business-rating website by satisfied customers.
This year's runner-up in Hounslow was Lebanese restaurant Mawal Garden, in Hanworth Road, Hounslow.
Hypnotherapists Hypnosis Works and plumbers London Heating Ltd shared third place.
Osmans Solicitors, based in Hounslow, came second nationwide in the conveyancing solicitors category.
Martin Goldthorpe, who runs the Best of Hounslow website, said: "These reviews really help businesses what they're doing well and what could be improved.
"It's also great for staff to see how much their work is appreciated and a useful tool for residents when choosing which business to use."
