Parishioners from nine different nationalities enjoyed a very exotic afternoon as they threw themselves into an International Day at St Lawrence's School.
The event was the second organised by the congregation of St Lawrence's Church, Feltham, to celebrate their diverse backgrounds.
"Last year it struck people that there were an awful lot of different races and nationalities at the church and we should organise something fun to recognise that fact," said parishioner John Murphy.
"This year we had about 80 people, many in traditional dress and there was also music, dancing and a number of national dishes."
For the event on Sunday the church also set up a map of the world and invited people to stick pins in where they came from.
Mr Murphy added: "It was a very successful afternoon and we're thinking about making it an annual event."
