I AM writing to ask all your readers to lend their support to children's cancer charity CLIC Sargent by getting behind Yummy Mummy Week 2010 (March 6 to 14).

This year, the fun-packed fundraising event for mums of all ages has moved to March in celebration of Mother's Day. There are lots of ways people across London can support Yummy Mummy Week.

To celebrate the campaign's fifth anniversary, there are five fun ways to get involved. You can either Feel, Eat, Dress, Party or Go Yummy, so why not organise a pamper night, a coffee morning or hold your own sponsored walk in your wellies?

The options are endless. What could be better than getting together with friends and family, having a bit of fun and raising money at the same time for families affected by childhood cancer?

Last year mums supporting the campaign in this area held events ranging from dinner parties to coffee mornings and cake sales to help raise vital funds for children with cancer.

This year we would like to raise even more, so if you can set some time aside to squeeze one thing in this March, I would encourage you to make it a Yummy Mummy event.

If fundraising is not for you, why not support the campaign by purchasing gifts from the fantastic Yummy Mummy product range. If you are interested in supporting this year's Yummy Mummy campaign and would like to find out further information, please visit www.yummymummy.org.uk or call 08451 206 658 to register for your fundraising pack.

However you choose to get involved, your fundraising will make a world of difference to the 10 families a day told their child has cancer.

So come on mums, help us and have some fun!
