Gas cylinder scare at Uxbridge Road fire

FIRE broken out in a back garden shed with firefighters taking extra precautions because of a gas cylinder.

FIRE broken out in a back garden shed this afternoon (Monday), with firefighters taking extra precautions because of a gas cylinder.

The fire brigade were called to a house in Uxbridge Road, between Warley Road and Shakespeare Avenue, Hayes, at about 1.15pm.

The immediate area has been cordoned off while fire crews put out the blaze before it hits a gas cylinder in the shed. They were still on the scene as of 2.20pm.

No one has been reported injured, and the blaze is causing disruption on the roads.

Crews from Southall and Hayes stations are in attendance.
