Police have issued a fresh appeal for information regarding the whereabouts of a diabetic woman missing without her insulin.

Bronwyn Davies, 60, was last seen at her home in West Drayton on Thursday morning (January 1). She was reported missing later that day by her daughter.

Officers and her family are concerned as Mrs Davies is a type 1 diabetic and has with her neither her insulin nor her inhaler, which she uses regularly.

Officers believe she also has no money or phone with her.

Mrs Davis regularly walks the same route of the Grand Union Canal and around the Packet Boat Lane area and Marina with her family dogs and is well known in the area.

She is described as white, 5ft tall, with grey hair pinned up, making it appear short. She is of a slim and frail build and has green eyes.

She was last seen wearing a black rain mac, a cream/grey woolly hat, navy blue wellington boots with a 'dog-type' pattern, and was holding a black backpack.

Anyone who has seen Mrs Davies or who knows of her whereabouts should call the Hillingdon Missing Persons Unit on 0208 246 1710 or 0208 246 1732, or call police on 101.
