Free spring art show opens at the Cow Byre

Art society set up in 1945 is displaying a wide variety of work at the Ruislip gallery

Society of Ruislip Artists are holding an exhibition at the Cow Byre Gallery, Manor Farm Site, Ruislip. Kay McGoay with her owl painting.

Members of the Society of Ruislip Artists are showcasing their spring collection of work at The Cow Byre Gallery in Ruislip.

The society has been running since 1945 and is not faltering on its long running success with the latest exhibition.

Artists are displaying a variety of paintings in watercolour, oil, pastel and acrylic.

The free show, at the gallery in Manor Farm, Bury Street, Ruislip, is open until March 22. Viewing is from 10am to 5pm Monday to Saturday and from 10am to 4pm this Sunday, during the Duck Pond Artisan Food and Craft Market.

The society holds meetings in The Stables in Manor Farm on the first Tuesday of the month at 7.30pm, often involving demonstrations by professional artists. Guests are welcome.
