Local author Shirley Harber has recently had her children's book 'Krystal Bull Rain Dancer', published by Little Devil Books.

To celebrate, Barnard's Books in Windsor Street, Uxbridge, is giving five signed copies away to the first children who ask for one during half term week.

Krystal Bull Rain Dancer is one 13-year-old psychic's experience of channelling a rootin’ tootin’ cowgirl from the Great Plains of the American Wild West.

It’s Krystal’s 13th birthday, and who shows up at her house? Mr. Wormley, only her most UN-favorite teacher in year eight.

He’s there to see Krystal’s mum for her psychic know-how with the dearly departed ... What follows is an adventure of danger, excitement, curiosity and Krystal's realisation that she has a gift.
