Celebrate all things Brazilian at a music, dance and carnival show in Feltham.

Children and adults are welcome to attend the three-day event at Feltham Community College sports centre to learn capoeira, a martial art which combines dance, acrobatics and music.

There will also be a samba workshop, build your own instruments for children as well as face painting, a climbing wall, bouncy castle and barbecue.

The event will culminate in a live carnival show with a DJ and live performances from Brazilian groups.

Christ the Saviour Church plays host to this year's Youth Festival, West London's only free youth festival, tomorrow (19).

Organised by youth workers and community partners, the festival offers 11-18-year-olds a full day of food, live music and summer games.

The day includes a barbecue, rodeo bull, caged football, inflatable bungee run and live performances from the likes of MOBO winner Guvna B and Paigey Cakey.

Join the local community for a day in the London sun.

A summer play scheme has been organised to keep children entertained and busy throughout the holidays.

The Piccolo play centre in Chiswick will be offering days out, sports, arts and fitness sessions from July 22 to August 29.

Among the activities children aged four to 11 children can choose to join are football, dodgeball, athletics, cinema trips, roller skating and much more.

A charity are holding a free meditation workshop in Isleworth to give people a taste of what effect it can have on an individual.

The 'Life Beyond Stress' session will introduce people to practices from the ancient science of yoga which has proved to help people cope with the hectic pace of modern life, as well as function better under stress.

The event is run by Isha Institute of Inner Sciences and a trained teacher will give a brief introduction followed by a guided meditation experience.

Young people from Axis Youth Productions are in the final stages of rehearsals before curtains are raised on this summer's ghoulish production The Addams Family.

The Feltham-based amateur drama group will present the musical comedy at the Rhoda McGaw Theatre in Woking from Thursday July 24 to 26.

The three evening performances will start at 7.30pm in addition to a matinee show on Saturday (26) at 1pm.
