Barnhill Community High School have joined ‘the prom pack’ with this excellent and very formal set of pictures.
The Year 11s were at the Renaissance London Heathrow hotel in Bath Road arriving in a variety of transport from a red Ferrari to a white stretch limousines.
Everyone was greeted with non-alcoholic cocktails on arrival before sitting down to a hot buffet, then once the eating was out of the way, the awards were presented by Head Boy, Liban Mohamed, Head Girl, Anbar Ahmed, and Deputy Head Girl, Heena Bhola.
Among the recipients were Shannon Ronan, for Achievement Against All Odds; Kazem Idris and Louise Butler named as Sportsman and Sportswoman Of The Year – and the less serious First to Be A Millionaire, who will be, apparently, Shane David Joseph; and Joker of the Year, Daniel Osilaja.
Qaasim Sharif and Angela Haddard were named as Prom King and Prom Queen, voted for on the night by the Key Stage Team.
