Part of the ground floor of a terraced house in Greenford has been damaged by a fire.

Four fire engines, 21 firefighters and officers were called to a house fire in Dawlish Avenue yesterday afternoon (October 20).

Thankfully nobody was injured.

The Fire Brigade was called at about 1pm and the fire was under control by 1.30pm.

Crews from Wembley and Northolt fire stations attended the incident.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
