A Hounslow student is set to be charged with murder after the death of a man set alight in a Staines street.

A Hounslow student is set to be charged with murder after the death of a man set alight in a Staines street.

Charles Davies, 23, who was set alight in Templedene Avenue, on Saturday, June 14, died at Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead, last night.

Nadim Kurrimbukus, 24, of Heath Road, was charged with attempted murder last Monday and was due to appear at Kingston Crown Court on July 7.

But Surrey Police have confirmed they are to apply to the court to change the indictment to murder.
