A BRAVE woman is set to walk across fire and glass as part of the final challenge on her extreme ‘bucket list’.
Fiona Bay, who turns 60 in November, set herself a list of daring activities to take on before she hits the milestone birthday.
Having already completed 53 of the challenges on the ‘60 list’ she set herself in March – including gliding, indoor skydiving and a motorbike course – the St Luke’s Fire Walk will be the final test on her list.
She said: “I am a woman of extremes and I am extremely excited about the opportunity to do this challenge. If I don’t manage it on the first attempt, I will have to keep trying until I am successful.
“This is not good for my poor feet but it will be a privilege to raise as much money as possible for St Luke’s.”
Mrs Bay is already feeling the adrenaline from the upcoming challenge which will take place this Halloween at Claremont High School in Kenton.
She says she will not give up until she conquers the fire walk, which will raise funds for St Luke’s Hospice in Kenton.
If you would like to take on the challenge yourself, phone Tim on 020 8382 8023. Entry is £30.
