The Fiji rugby sevens team visited Hammersmith last week in preparation for the London Sevens tournament.

Just before heading down the road to Twickenham for the final tournament in the HSBC Sevens World Series last Saturday, the Fiji team joined staff at The London Chiropractic Clinic in Fulham Palace Road last Wednesday (7).

Doctors at the clinic were appointed as the official chiropractors for the team who are renowned for their prowess on a rugby pitch.

Although they were eventually beaten by England who nabbed third place at the tournament, they came third overall and Fijian flyer, Samisoni Viriviri was announced as the 2014 IRB Sevens Player of the Year, with 52 tries.

Fiji’s head coach, Ben Ryan, praised the clinic and said: “It was absolutely fantastic that we were able to utilise the world class practitioners at The London Chiropractic Clinic for the final world sevens series tournament. John Stoker and the team at the clinic were our secret weapon. It was undoubtedly a great help for us having The London Chiropractic Clinic as our 8th man last week! Can’t thank them enough.”

Dr of Chiropractic John Stoker added that it was brilliant working with Ben and the team.
