At the end of a difficult day, if you want to come home to a loving welcome from someone who’s pleased to see you, Edgar could be your man.

Edgar is a beautiful, intelligent young cat in the prime of his life.

He is very affectionate and likes nothing better than to sit on your lap or be surrounded by people. He actually seems to listen to conversation.

Edgar knows what it’s like to have a difficult day. He had fallen on hard times when Hounslow Animal Welfare Society (HAWS) found him living on the streets, fending for himself.

His foster family would love to adopt him but unfortunately Edgar does not get on well with his foster carer’s other cats. This means that, while he is being fostered, Edgar is confined to his sanctuary room which for such a sociable cat is not ideal.

Although it will break the foster carer’s heart to see him go, Edgar needs a forever home where he can be the only cat in the household.

If you would like Edgar to be waiting for you when you get home, contact HAWS on 020 8560 5443 or see haws-animals.org.uk .
