Police are looking for three women, thought to be related, who attacked launched a bizarre attack on a pedestrian outside a Chelsea department store.

The female victim was walking towards Peter Jones in Sloane Square on Friday, August 15, at about 4.30pm when she heard shouting.

A middle aged woman, wearing lots of gold jewellery and fake tan, then ran towards her screaming: "You've slapped my mother, you've hit my mother... no one slaps my mother, she's 64 and it's her birthday."

A couple of seconds later a young woman, who had a big build and an Essex accent, screeched: "You've slapped my Nan"

The second attacker, who was aged about 20, then grabbed a handbag from the pedestrian - who had no idea what they were talking about - and pulled her around the street.

The pair, thought to be mother and daughter, were accompanied by an older woman with red hair who was wearing sunglasses and a rust coloured top.
