Passengers who frequently use the H25 bus will be pleased to hear Transport for London (TfL) will boost services on the route from Saturday (18).

Due to demand from commuters, the busy route which has come under fire in the past for delivering a terrible service , will now operate every 12 minutes as opposed to the current 15 minutes, during Monday to Friday daytime and Saturday shopping hours.

In addition, during early mornings and evenings the frequency will also be increased from every 30 minutes to every 20 minutes.

The extra 25 per cent frequency increase and extra capacity will be welcomed by regular users of the service.

The H25, operated by Abellio, runs between Hatton Cross Station and Hanworth, Butts Farm via Hatton Road, Bedfont Green, Bedfont Lane, Feltham High Street, Hanworth Park, Main Street, Hounslow Road and Saxon Way.

John Barry, TfL’s head of network development for buses, said: “Over the past five years demand on this route has increased by around 15 per cent during Monday to Fridays.

"We’ve also seen demand at weekends go up.

"So we’re listening to our passengers and increasing the frequency of our services so that we can best meet their needs.”
