AN EXHIBITION celebrating Charles Dickens’ links with the borough is being held at Hounslow Library to mark the 200th anniversary of the author’s birth.
Charles Dickens was reportedly a regular at Isleworth’s London Apprentice pub and is also believed to have visited the Brentford pumping station (now Kew Bridge Steam Museum). The area features in a number of his novels.
The free exhibition runs until February 29.
