NORTHFIELDS: Two former journalists are hoping their new shop menu will be the catch of the day as they open up a new fishmonger's in Northfields.

Two former journalists are hoping their new shop menu will be the catch of the day as they open up a new fishmonger's in Northfields.

Poisson Ltd, in Devonshire House, Northfields Avenue, will be open for trade from 11am on Tuesday.

Katie and Simon Osborne decided to turn their passion for good food into a business, after completing courses at the Billingsgate Market Seafood School.

The school's director, CJ Jackson, will officially open the fishmonger's and will be signing copies of her latest book, 'The Billingsgate Market Cookbook'.

Simon, 41, and Katie, 39, live in Northfields with their four children and are hoping to fill a gap in the market by providing an independent fresh fish counter.
