Two Ickenham residents have completed a rally round Europe, which took place for the first time in 50 years.
Driver Richard Dalton and navigator Bob Green finished sixth overall out of 54 entrants and third in their class.
They completed the LiegeBrescia - Liege Rally in a Citroen 2CV and returned home late on Monday last week after 11 gruelling days.
Mr Dalton, 52, works at Long Lane Farm in Ickenham and had been preparing all year.
He said: "It was the hardest thing I have ever done,we were in the car parks some nights at 11pm, fixing the car up for the next day.
"It involved 12 hour days and was really tough, especially going up mountains in first gear, but we made it up on the way down, some of it was even fun.
"We saw a lot of Europe and met some lovely people doing it. I do enjoy it, it's my passion and that's what I do."
