Children with learning and physical disabilities have been donated an electric wheelchair from customers and staff at a casino.

Carrick Marshall, seven, who has cerebral palsy, collected the donation from Cashino, in North End Road, Fulham, on behalf of his classmates at Jack Tizard School, Shepherd’s Bush.

Cashino is a main fundraiser for Chips, a charity founded by the casino and gaming industry to provide specialist powered wheelchairs for children with severe mobility problems.

Amanda Denson, occupational therapist at the school, said: “This kind contribution will make a difference to so many of our children’s lives not only now but in the future, providing them with a chance to learn how to operate and experience the benefits of a powered wheelchair.”
