AN ELDERLY woman is in 'serious' condition in hospital after being knocked down by a bus.

The pedestrian, believed to be in her 70s, was struck and injured in Manor Park Road in Harlesden at 2.15pm on Monday.

She was taken to a central London hospital and Brent Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident.

The bus driver stopped at the scene and was not arrested.

Officers continue to conduct enquiries.
