Police are this morning appealing for anyone who witnessed a collision in Harrow which left a man in his 80s with serious injuries to come forward.
Officers say there were a number of people who got off the Route 114 double-decker bus, who might have seen the incident in Eastcoate Lane, at the junction with Brookside Close at 5.05pm yesterday (Wednesday December 17).
A black Ford Focus was in collision with a pedestrian in his late 80s, was taken to a central London hospital suffering from a head injury. His condition is serious at this time. The male driver stopped at the scene and was arrested on suspicion of drinking and driving - he has been released on police bail to mid February 2015.
