Police are this week handing out photos in the busy road of Ahmed Mahmoud El-Shubrawy, who they wish to speak to in connection to the murder of Dilip Unadkat.

The 48-year-old who was found stabbed to death at his home in Alexandra Court, Empire Way, on November 27 after police broke in following a concerned call from a family member.

El-Shubrawy, 26, an Egyptian national, is known to frequent areas of west London and Birmingham.

He is describes as 5'6" in height, with black hair and brown eyes. He has a tanned completion and speaks with a Middle Eastern accent.

Detective Inspector Lee Presland, who is heading the investigation, said:  "We are now extending our appeal for information regarding El-Shubrawy's whereabouts to the north African/Middle-Eastern communities in West London.

"El-Shubrawy would often socialise in cafes along the Edgware Road. He may be using an alias of Ahmed Mahmoud Abu-Hajaj, and may describe himself as Iraqi."
