LABOUR leader Ed Miliband was in Feltham & Heston today to throw his support behind by-election candidate Seema Malhotra.

Mr Miliband hit the campaign trail at the Beavers Estate SureStart Childrens Centre and Library on Salisbury Road, before canvassing on the estate.

He also joined Labour candidate Seema Malhotra on a visit to Feltham Town Centre where they spoke to voters before Mr Miliband delivered a campaign speech at a Labour street stall on the high street.

The by-election will take place on December 15 to elect a successor to Labour MP Alan Keen, who died last month following a battle with cancer.

The candidates are: David Bishop (Bus-Pass Elvis Party), Mark Bowen (Conservative), Andrew Charalambous (UKIP), Roger Cooper (English Democrats), Roger Crouch (Liberal Democrat), David Furness (BNP), Daniel Goldsmith (Green), George Hallam (London People Before Profit), Seema Malhotra (Labour).
