ADRIAN Cave OBE asked that the Gazette publish this short correction by way of apology after we inadvertently awarded him a knighthood last week.

We are happy to oblige:

An OBE (Old Boy of Ealing)

Said: "Your newspaper set my head reeling.

You gave me a fright When you said I'm a knight -

For an OBE's much more appealing!"
