Crack cocaine took on a new meaning after a dealer was caught in Isleworth hiding a huge stash of the drug between his buttocks.

Ben Mash, of no fixed abode, was jailed for three years and four months on Wednesday (November 19) at Kingston Crown Court after admitting two counts of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply. He was also ordered to pay a £120 victim surcharge and £50 in court costs.

The jobless 25-year-old had been stopped by police in Thornbury Road, Isleworth, on October 8, because he was wanted for failing to appear on bail for possession of cannabis.

He was arrested and taken to Hounslow police station, where he lashed out at police when he was being searched, injuring an officer. After restraining him, officers found 58 wraps of crack cocaine and heroin hidden between his buttocks.

PC John Taylor, of Hounslow Crime Squad, said: "Drugs cause a significant amount of harm to our communities and many drug users will commit other crimes to fund their drug habit. Mash is now facing a lengthy sentence behind bars and I hope this sentence serves a reminder to those who continue to deal in drugs that sooner or later we will arrest you and put you before the courts."

Yesterday we reported how a teenager from Brentford had been caught with heroin and cocaine at McDonald's in Hounslow.
