Two men needed treatment in hospital following a collision near Heathrow Airport on Sunday night (24).
A 58-year-old driver of a red Vauxhall Astra and the 33-year-old driver of a Renault Kangoo were both involved in the incident at the junction of Hatton Road and A30 Great South West Road at 9.20pm.
Motorists found themselves stuck in long tailbacks along the main arterial road which skirts Heathrow as the collision occurred right in the middle of the notoriously busy junction.
London Ambulance Service confirmed it sent a single responder car and an ambulance crew to the scene and later took both casualties to West Middlesex Hospital.
Information on the injuries suffered by the men was not available although neither was said to be life threatening.
The London Fire Brigade also attended to help remove the wreckage from the carriageway.
Police confirmed they had been alerted by the LAS and that they were still investigating the collision.
No arrests were made.
In 2011 three members of the same family were killed in a crash at the same junction.
