A man has been arrested after a car was shot at in Kenton.

The shooting took place in Hinkler Road last Saturday (January 10) at 8.35pm and witnesses saw the shooter driving away from the scene.

When police arrived in the area they discovered an empty Ford Galaxy car which had damage to the back passenger door.

The road was cordoned off while officers searched the area.

One man has been arrested and was released on bail until February.
