One of the boroughs most treasured musicians is holding a concert in Chelsea, alongside his wife for the first time.

With fellow cellist Jiaxin Lloyd Webber, Julian will present a brand new concert on December 11, 7:30pm at Cadogan Hall, featuring world premiere performances of duets for two cellos with piano, as well as featuring music from the great composers across the classical spectrum from Vivaldi to Arvo Pärt, Dvoák, Bach, Rachmaninov, Saint-Saëns, Piazzolla and many more.

Julian Lloyd Webber, often described as being one of the finest musicians of his generation and brother to Andrew Lloyd Webber is an active resident of the borough. Chairman of the Onslow Square Neighbourhood Association the international artist feels compelled to bring his music to local residents.

He said: "This concert is a first for Jiaxin and I as we have never performed together in a concert of this scale. It is very important for me to perform at Cadogan Hall. It is a fantastic space. It's a good size but still very intimate. The show we'll be putting on is a new concept. I feel it's very important for the young to be introduced to classical music and so we will talk a little bit about each piece of music before we play it and I encourage families to come along."
