THE DOLLIS Hill by-election was held last night, and Liberal Democrat Alison Hopkins came out on top.


She was elected with 1,205 votes. 


Labour candidate Parvez Ahmed was close behind her with 1,168 votes, and Samer Ahmedali from the Conservative Party got 140 votes.


Peter Murry from the Green Party got 79 votes.


The voter turn out was 30 per cent.
