It has been a cracking year for the popular hair salon in Pinner, awards and nominations keep flooding in.

D&J Ambrose in Bridge Street, Pinner have announced this week that their Company Director, Michael Francos, 29, has had his Men's Collection shortlisted for the AIPP Awards (Association Internationale Presse Professionnelle Coiffure) in the Best Men's Category.

This year the awards received over 561 image collections from 34 countries around the world – a new record for the AIPP - and will take place at a prestigious ceremony during the Alternative Hair Show 2014 at the Royal Albert Hall in October.

The 29 year-old from Bushey had to submit three photographs of his work on models, he said: “It’s amazing to be competing against so many other great mens’ collections not only from the UK but worldwide.”

The rest of the team are also celebrating a whopping three finalists in the British Hairdressing Awards including two colourists in the Colour Technician category, Clayde Baumann and Abby Smith.

Art Director, Luke Benson has been shortlisted for Afro Hairdresser of the Year.

The successful finalists now have to submit four images to be judged in the second round, the winners will be announced at a ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel in November.
