Design a festive card for MP Mary Macleod which will be sent to the Prime Minister this Christmas.

People of all ages in the borough are invited to put pen to paper and show off their artistic talents or take a creative snapshot around the theme of Christmas or winter on their camera.

The main rule of the 2014 Christmas card competition is photographs must be taken somewhere in the borough of Hounslow.

The lucky winner will also receive a framed copy of their design, presented by the Brentford and Isleworth MP in Parliament.

Ms Macleod said: “West London is a fantastic place to be at Christmas. We live in a beautiful part of London, so I would be delighted for local people to get in touch this year with their designs and creations for my Christmas card.

"I am sure the Prime Minister will find a special place on his mantelpiece for it!”

The closing date of the competition is Wednesday, November 12.
