All modes of transport have been hit by flooding this morning in at least three different areas of Harrow.

Drivers are stuck in a traffic jam due to flooding outside by Northwick Park Hospital in Watford Road, Harrow, and buses 18 and182 are being diverted because of the inundation in the road.

There is flooding reported in High Street, Wealdstone, from a burst water main, for which routes 114, 140, 182, 183, 186, 223, 258, 340, H17, H19, H9 and H10 are being diverted.

Rail passengers have not escaped the downpour's aftermath's either: there has been flooding on the railway line at Sudbury Hill Harrow Station that has submerged signalling equipment.

This has created delays between High Wycombe and Marylebone due to enforced speed restrictions.

Chiltern Railways is awaiting an engineer to assess the flooding and says Virgin Trains is accepting tickets.
