A body believed to be that of missing Hayes man Ian Beaver has been discovered.
A member of the public found the body close to Hayes End Road at about 7.50pm yesterday (Monday).
The death is not being treated as suspicious, say police, who are awaiting formal identification.
Mr Beaver, 48, hasn't been seen since leaving his family home at around 1pm last Tuesday (21). Police made a missing persons appeal the following day.
A post mortem examination is expected to take place tomorrow (Wednesday) at Uxbridge mortuary.
