Police have arrested four people after executing warrants under the Misuse of Drugs Act as part of a Day of Action in Greenhill ward by the authorities.

Sergeant Jamie Kay, of Greenhill Safer Neighbourhood Team, posted a Tweet on Twitter this morning about the raid on a property in Elmgrove Crescent.

Some of the officers tasked with breaking down the front door equipped themselves in riot gear.

Four people were arrested for drugs offences.

The Day of Action is part of a Week of Action conducted Harrow Police and Harrow Council launching a blitz of one particular ward of the borough, and this week it the turn of Harrow town centre

The Mayor of London, Boris Johnson (Conservative), will be arriving in St Ann's Road later to meet local police officers and discuss falling burglary rates.
